Do you still remember the foot of Mount Fuji late at night? A cool breeze on the terrace, and at the moment the world fell silent, a flash of light tore through the night sky—it was an unexpected fireworks display. The light reflected in my eyes, then vanished into the cold in an instant.

Fireworks fade easily, people disperse easily. The cruelest thing in the world is not disappearing, but being completely "forgotten." Those vivid memories, those people we loved, if no one remembers them, they will fall into true oblivion. We fear that kind of death, so we always desperately try to hold onto something.

Therefore, I encased that fleeting flash of light within this square liuli (glass) bead, using its facets to resist the erosion of time.

This is a mark that refuses to be forgotten. As long as you carry it, those precious pasts will never face a second death.
